  Sensible Horse Handling wants to wish all of you the very best of times to come.  We want to thank each and every one of you for being excellent students.  Without your dedication and commitment to your horses, the "Natural Horsemanship Way" would not be growing.  You have seen changes in your horses, and are all becoming the partner your horse has been waiting for.

As of May 1st 2008 there will be a small increase in the base fee of the private and semi-private lessons.  This is the first increase in these fees since February 2000.  You will note  that haul-in lessons to BHSHH facility will remain at the same 2000 rate. Also the added travel expense fee requiring ferry fees, toll fees, etc., has been decreased from $10 to $5 per horse.

The 7-Day  and the 3-Day programs, along with clinics are remaining at the same rates as last year.

Base Fees are as follows

• 1 Day Clinics:

                           ( 8-12 horses ) 6hrs.)........$100 per horse

• Semi-Private Lesson:

                        ( *2-4 horses ) ( 2 hrs. ).........$70 per horse
                   * Haul-in lessons to BHSHH facility $60 horse   

• Private Lesson:
  • (* 1 horse ) ( 2 hrs. )..............$85 per horse
  • * Haul-in lessons to BHSHH facility $75 per horse
• Trailer Loading Lesson:
• • ( 1 horse ) ( 0 to 2 hrs. ).....$85 per horse
    over 2 hrs. will be an additional $43 per hr.
• Trail Riding Lessons: 
  • Private (minimum 2hrs)--------------$90
  • 2-6 horses (min. 2hrs. )------------$75 travel fees will apply for locations 1.5hrs. or more from BHSHH facility .  
• Overnight Horse Camping:                             
  • ( 2-6horses ---call office for cost( dinner and breakfast provided at extra cost)
• 7 Day Training Program:
  • ( per horse )...........................$700  ( Approx. 8 hrs. per day)  ( 3-4 horses taken in at one time )
    Held at SHH Facility.  Includes board.
    Owner to provide Hay and feed.
• 3 Day Training Program:
•                              ( per horse)----------------$375

                             Same format as 7-day program

Travel Fees will apply as follows

• Less than 1 hour.---------------------------------------None
• 1.5 hours ----------------------------------------------$15 per horse
• over 1.5 hours----------------------Please call office for quote

  Please note that travel requiring other expenses such as ferry fees, toll fees, etc., will have an additional $5 per horse added to the travel fee.  The above travel fees apply when there is a full day scheduled in the same area, (3 - 4 lessons, or 6 - 8 hours)
